Therma Mend Essential Oil Pain Relief Ingredients


  • Menthol
    • Menthol is an organic, minty substance in clear or white  crystal form. Menthol has various health benefits:
      • Topical Analgesic - used to relieve muscle aches and cramps, sprains, irritations of the  skin, and headaches. 
      • Cooling Agent - cools and refreshes the skin. Helpful in relieving pain from sunburn.
      • Decongestant - helps relieve nasal and chest congestion. Helpful to use in people with colds and sinus issues. 
  • Camphor
    • Camphor essential oil has many different health uses. It is a stimulant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, decongestant, anesthetic, sedative, nervous pacifier, anti-neuralgic, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant, and insecticide substance.
    • Used for treating : improper circulation, digestions, sluggish or overactive metabolic rates, obstructed secretions, bacterial and fungal infections, body lice or parasites, congestion of the lungs and nasal passages, nervous disorders and convulsions, epileptic attacks, nervousness, chronic anxiety, muscle spasms and cramps, neuralgia, inflammation, gas, arthritis, gout, rheumatism, cardiac failure, hysteria, whooping cough, measles, flu, food poisoning, infections of the reproductive organs, and insect bites.
  • Aminomethyl Propanol 
    • an alkanolamine that comes in the form of either a colorless liquid or a crystalline solid. it works to adjust pH levels. Found in hair dyes, hair sprays, lotions, and creams. Usually used in concentration of 1% or less. Paula Begoun who is known as the "cosmetics cop" and has had hundreds of appearances on TV, including Dr. Oz and The View, rates Aminomethylpropanol as "Good"
  • Cassia Oil 
    • Cassia oil is extracted from the leaves, bark, twigs, and stalks of the Cassia tree, It has been shown to benefit those with arthritis and Rheumatism. It cures diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. It is used as an Anti-Depressant, Anti-microbial, Anti-viral, Anti-arthritic, and more. 
  • Capsicum 
    • Capsicum is derived from tropical pepper plants. Capsicum also refers to the fruit produced by these plants. Common types of Capsicum plants include Cayenne, Red, and Jalapeno peppers. It is known to stimulate circulation. The capsaicin compound in capsicum can block the transmission of pain to the spinal cord from the skin. Capsicum is effective in treating arthritis and shingles.

    • Cetyl Alcohol is produced from vegetable oils such as palm oil, and coconut oil. It is used as a thickening agent.
  • Clove Oil
    • Clove oil is an essential oil from the Clove plant. It is a natural analgesic and antiseptic.
  • Dissodium EDTA
    • Dissodium EDTA is a chelating agent that helps the major ingredients do their job. It acts as a preservative. 
  • Ethylexylglycerin 
    • Derived from grains and plants. It is used as a stabilizer and/or preservative. It has been used in the treatment of eczema. 
  • Eucalyptus Oil 
    • Obtained from the leaf of a Eucalyptus tree. It stimulates the immune system. It also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and decongestant qualities. 
  • Glyceryl Stearate
    • Derived from palm kernel, vegetable or soy oil. Found naturally in the human body. It helps the product be freeze-resistant and keeps products from forming surface crusts. It reduces greasiness in creams and oils. 
  • Hyssop Oil
    • Derived from a shrub in the Mediterranean. Its extracted from the leaves and flowering tops. In a cream it has been shown to help the skin to heal without permanent scarring and helps to disperse bruising. 
  • Isopropyl Palmitate
    • It is derived from Palm oil. It is a combination of isopropyl alcohol and palmitic acid. The palmitic portion contains a fatty acid that is composed of Vitamin A and an antioxidant. It easy penetrates the skin. 
  • Lavender Oil
    • Extracted from the lavender plant. It is used in creams and lotions for its calming scent. It is known as an excellent remedy for various types of pain. It has anti-inflammatory qualities that reduce irritation and pain associated with bug bites. It is also know to reduce the appearance of scars. 
  • Peppermint Oil 
    • Derived from the peppermint plant. It has been shown to help with headache, nerve pain, muscle pain, and repelling mosquitoes. 
  • Phenooxyethanol
    • It is an alcohol that is used as a fragrance.
  • Potassium Sorbate 
    • It is a salt. It is used to prevent fungi. 
  • Propylene glycol
    • It is used for consistency. In the body it is rapidly converted to lactic acid, in a similar manner to what happens with sugar in the muscles during sports. It is in cosmetics, animal feed, and pharmaceuticals. There is no indications in existing studies that is has any negative effect of the health of humans including babies and small children.   • Stearyl Alcohol
    • An organic compound used as a thickener. It is generally derived from coconnut oil. 
  • Tea Tree Oil 
    • Derived from the leaves of the melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) in Australia. Used to treat Arthritis, bruises, chigger bites, dandruff, dry skin, etc. 
  • Thymol
    • Found in the oil of Thyme and extracted from common thyme and various other kinds of plants. Used for the prevention of bacteria.
